Radios from five decades
For this time the special exhibition has come to an end. We would like to thank the numerous visitors and especially the devoted former employees of Stern-Radio who did a marvellous job presenting the collection! Several hundred visitors saw the exhibition, which therefore was a great success.
Founded in 1951 and based on the former Loewe-Opta plant, the state combine VEB Stern-Radio Berlin in the district of Weißensee was in charge of the entire radio production in the GDR. Until the late 80ies radios were produced here. The most important factories out of Berlin were: VEB Stern-Radio Sonneberg, VEB-Stern-Radio Rochlitz, VEB Stern-Radio Stassfurt.

The kick-off concert for 2010 of the T-Mobile Street Gigs took place on February 24 at the Funkhaus Berlin Nalepastraße.
