Planet Roc is surely one of the largest recording studios in the world. Built between 1951 an 1956 by the bauhaus architect Franz Ehrlich, the studios were designed with the aim of optimizing all different elements of sound and ambience combining perfect acoustic surrounding with state of the art technology.
The idea behind Planet Roc is to create an alternative pool of artists, producers, publishers, composers, film- and video directors, record-labels and promoters, managing to get them all under one roof, enabling a working atmosphere, where each division can profit from the other's resources on a productive level.
And by the way: You can commute the Berlin Universal - MTV - Planet Roc route by boat in just 7 minutes...
