One of the best live bands in the world, the exceptional Norwegian rock band Kaizers Orchestra, recorded their fourth studio album at the Funkhaus Berlin in Nalepastraße. They have mastered a virtuous style of rock music using all kinds of instruments – including oildrums and scrap. Their unusual sound, which seems to be influenced by Eastern Europe, is therefore often called “polka rock” and comes along with Norwegian lyrics. Ever since their open air opening concert of documenta 12 in Kassel, the band is no longer just an insider tip.
