On June 20th 2007 German rock stars like the Puhdys, Karat, Silly, Anna Loos, Ute Freudenberg, Veronika Fischer, Dirk Michaelis and Werther Lohse introduced their new album “Ost-Rock in Klassik” at a press conference in Hall 1. For the presentation of the new CD the rock stars of former East Germany returned to the place where most of their songs had originally been produced in the 70ies. Together with the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg they recorded 17 songs in a new style; among them hits like “Bataillon d´amour” (Silly), “Jugendliebe” (Ute Freudenberg) and “Der blaue Planet” (Karat).
