ELYAS KHAN has built a reputation as one of the most unique vocalists and songwriters in music today. A powerhouse on stage, “taking the spiritual and making it gleefully profane”, with a voice like “melted fucking chocolate over bourbon” he creates a dark, sensuous mass of sound, invoking a 
post punk, Led Zeppelin, electro / folk / funk / urban / nomadic freak-out!
Dubbed “Royalty in dirty disguise” by fans, ELYAS KHAN, solo and with his Brooklyn based band NERVOUS CABARET, has shared stages with Amanda Palmer, Animal Collective, Coco Rosie, Anthony & The Johnsons, Sonic Youth, Nouvelle Vague, 17 Hippies and many others, while touring the US and Europe including major festivals (Dour, Trans Musicales, Arezzo Wave, etc).
Elyas is currently in Berlin recording a new album
at the historic Funkhaus Berlin Nalepastrasse.
