The unique recording halls with their legendary acoustics, as well as recording studios with state-of-the-art technology are revitalized as a lively business center for music, culture, media and events. In order to celebrate his 40th stage anniversary, rock musician Peter Maffay publishes a new album with the title „Tattoos“. Backed up by the VW Philharmonic Orchestra some of his greatest hits were recorded again and partly rearranged. But it contains also new and very personal Maffay songs. The new album was presented during an inspiring concert at the Tempodrom. The rehearsals for this concert took place at the Funkhaus in the beautiful and historic Recording Hall 2. Nach dem überwältigenden Erfolg des Orchesters mit der Neudeutung von Beethovens Symphonien, steht nun der nächste Coup bevor: Unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Paavo Järvi spielen die Bremer Kammerphilharmoniker die vier Symphonien von Schumann ein. Wie auch schon bei Beethovens Symphonien, finden die Aufnahmen im großen Sendesaal des Funkhauses statt, wo im Dezember mit der Rheinischen Symphonie begonnen wurde.
